Terms of Service

Last updated: 19 March 2026  ·  Effective date: 19 March 2026

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using Slidiant. By creating an account or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use Slidiant.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Slidiant Inc. ("Slidiant", "we", "us", or "our"), governing your access to and use of the Slidiant website at slidiant.com and all related services (collectively, the "Service").

By accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which are incorporated herein by reference.

2. Eligibility

To use Slidiant you must:

  • Be at least 16 years of age, or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction if higher.
  • Be a real, living human being. Accounts may not be created or operated by bots, automated scripts, AI agents, or any non-human process.
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract.
  • Not be prohibited from using the Service under any applicable law.
  • If acting on behalf of an organisation, have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

Slidiant is a presentation-sharing platform. By registering, you confirm that your intended use is genuine — to share, distribute, or analyse presentations for legitimate professional, educational, or creative purposes. Use of the Service for search engine optimisation, link building, artificial traffic generation, or any purpose other than authentic content sharing is not permitted.

By using Slidiant, you represent and warrant that you meet all of these eligibility requirements.

3. Your Account

3.1 Registration

To access most features of Slidiant, you must create an account by providing accurate, complete, and up-to-date information. You agree to keep this information current. Accounts created using false identities, temporary email addresses, or fraudulent information may be removed without notice.

3.2 Account security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately at legal@slidiant.com if you suspect any unauthorised access to your account.

3.3 One account per person

Each account is for a single individual or, where an organisation plan is available, a single organisation. You may not share your account credentials with others or create multiple accounts to circumvent plan limits, access restrictions, or any enforcement action taken by Slidiant.

3.4 Human registration requirement

All accounts must be created and actively managed by a real human being. Automated registration — including the use of bots, scripts, browser automation tools, or AI-driven agents — is strictly prohibited. We reserve the right to immediately remove any account we reasonably believe was not created or is not operated by a genuine human user, without notice or refund.

3.5 Account archival and suspension

We reserve the right to archive, suspend, restrict, or permanently delete any account at any time, at our sole discretion, including but not limited to cases where:

  • The account has had no login activity for a continuous period of 12 months or more.
  • We suspect the account is being used in violation of these Terms.
  • The account poses a risk to the integrity, security, or reputation of the Service.
  • We are required to do so by law or court order.

Where practical and not prohibited by law, we will provide at least 30 days' email notice before archiving an inactive account. No notice is required for suspension or termination due to Terms violations. Archived accounts may be restored upon request, subject to verification; deleted accounts and their associated content cannot be recovered.

4. Plans & Billing

4.1 Available plans

Plan Price Presentations Slides
Forever Free $0 Up to 10 Up to 20 per deck
Professional $79 / year Up to 30 Up to 50 per deck
Thought Leader $199 / year Unlimited Unlimited

4.2 Billing

Paid plans are billed annually in advance. All prices are in US dollars and exclude applicable taxes. Payment is processed securely by Stripe. By providing payment details, you authorise us to charge your payment method for the applicable fees.

4.3 Renewals

Your paid plan will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. You will receive a reminder email at least 7 days before renewal.

4.4 Cancellations & refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access to paid features until then. We do not offer pro-rata refunds for partial billing periods, except where required by applicable law (including EU consumer rights legislation, which provides a 14-day cooling-off period for new subscriptions).

4.5 Price changes

We may change our prices at any time. If we increase the price of your plan, we will give you at least 30 days' notice before the change takes effect at your next renewal. Continuing to use the Service after a price change constitutes acceptance.

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree to use Slidiant only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with the Service's intent as a presentation-sharing and analytics platform. You must not use the Service to:

  • Upload, share, or distribute content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.
  • Upload, share, or distribute any content that is sexually explicit, pornographic, graphically violent, or that promotes, incites, or glorifies violence, hatred, self-harm, terrorism, or civil unrest. Such content will be removed immediately and the account terminated without notice or refund.
  • Build backlinks, manipulate search engine rankings, or otherwise use the Service as a vehicle for search engine optimisation (SEO) or link schemes. Presentations must represent genuine content — not pages designed primarily to host outbound links.
  • Infringe any intellectual property rights, including copyright, trademark, or trade secrets.
  • Upload content that contains malware, viruses, or any malicious code.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users' accounts.
  • Scrape, crawl, or otherwise extract data from the Service by automated means without our prior written consent.
  • Use the Service to send unsolicited commercial communications (spam).
  • Misrepresent your identity or impersonate any person or organisation.
  • Artificially inflate view counts, engagement metrics, or analytics data through bots, scripts, browser automation, or coordinated inauthentic behaviour.
  • Resell, sublicense, or otherwise commercialise access to the Service or any of its features without our prior written consent.
  • Use the Service in any way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair our infrastructure.
  • Circumvent, disable, or otherwise interfere with security or access control features, plan limits, or content gates.
  • Facilitate or encourage any of the above.

Zero tolerance: Explicit content (sexual, pornographic, graphically violent, or riot-inducing material) will be removed immediately upon detection, and the account will be terminated without notice or refund. We reserve the right to report illegal content to relevant law enforcement authorities.

Violation of this Acceptable Use Policy may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without notice or refund. Repeated or severe violations may result in a permanent ban from the Service.

6. Your Content

6.1 Ownership

You retain full ownership of all presentations, files, and other content you upload to Slidiant ("Your Content"). We do not claim any ownership rights over Your Content.

6.2 Licence to us

By uploading Your Content, you grant Slidiant a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, process, display, and transmit Your Content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service. This licence ends when you delete Your Content or close your account.

6.3 Your responsibilities

You are solely responsible for Your Content and the consequences of sharing it. You represent and warrant that:

  • You own or have the necessary rights and permissions to upload and share Your Content.
  • Your Content does not violate any third-party rights, including intellectual property rights or privacy rights.
  • Your Content complies with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Your Content does not violate our Acceptable Use Policy.
  • Your Content is genuine presentation material and not a disguised link page, redirect, or SEO artefact.

6.4 No use of content to train AI

We will never use Your Content to train, fine-tune, or evaluate artificial intelligence or machine learning models without your explicit written consent.

6.5 Content moderation and removal

We reserve the right to review, remove, restrict, or permanently delete any content — including entire presentations or accounts — at any time and without prior notice, if we determine that content violates these Terms, our Acceptable Use Policy, or applicable law. Content that is sexually explicit, pornographic, graphically violent, or that promotes hatred or civil unrest will be actioned immediately upon detection. We are not obligated to provide a reason for removal, although we will endeavour to do so where it is appropriate and lawful to do so.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Our property

The Slidiant name, logo, website, platform, software, features, and all associated intellectual property are owned by Slidiant Inc. and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of any part of the Service without our prior written permission. Use of the Slidiant name or brand for commercial promotion, affiliation claims, or endorsements without written consent is not permitted.

7.2 Feedback

If you submit feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Service, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free licence to use and incorporate that feedback without any obligation to you.

8. Analytics & Activity Tracking

Analytics and audience insight are core features of the Slidiant Service. By creating an account or viewing any presentation hosted on Slidiant, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

8.1 View Events

When any person — including registered users — views a presentation on Slidiant, the platform automatically records a View Event. View Events capture data including but not limited to:

  • Time spent on each individual slide.
  • Slides viewed and overall completion percentage.
  • Device type (desktop, mobile, tablet), browser, and operating system.
  • Approximate country of origin, derived from IP address via a third-party geolocation service (ipapi.co). IP addresses themselves are not stored.
  • A session identifier generated per browser tab (not linked to your identity unless you are logged in).
  • Timestamp of the viewing session.

View Event data is made available to the owner of the presentation via the Slidiant analytics dashboard. By viewing a presentation on Slidiant, you consent to this data being collected and shared with the presentation creator.

8.2 Registered user tracking

If you are logged in to Slidiant when you view a presentation, your View Event may additionally include your user identifier (UID). Thought Leader plan subscribers may be able to view the identities of logged-in viewers of their presentations. By creating a Slidiant account, you acknowledge and accept that your viewing activity on the platform may be visible to other creators whose content you view, subject to their plan level.

8.3 Creator analytics

As a content creator, View Event data is aggregated and presented to you in your analytics dashboard. You may use this data only for the purpose of understanding how your own presentations perform. You may not attempt to reverse-engineer the identity of anonymous viewers, combine Slidiant analytics data with other data sources to identify individuals without their consent, or use analytics data for any purpose other than improving your own content.

8.4 Data integrity

Attempting to manipulate View Event data — including artificially inflating view counts, completion rates, or engagement metrics through automated means — is a violation of these Terms and may result in immediate account termination. Slidiant reserves the right to correct, suppress, or remove analytics data it determines to be fraudulent.

For full details on how View Event data is stored, processed, and retained, please see our Privacy Policy.

9. Viewer Data & Your Obligations

When you use features such as the email gate or viewer identity tracking (available on the Thought Leader plan), you collect personal data from people who view your presentations. In doing so, you act as a data controller in respect of that data.

You agree to:

  • Only collect viewer data where you have an appropriate legal basis to do so under applicable data protection law (including GDPR where applicable).
  • Inform your viewers that their data is being collected and how it will be used.
  • Not use viewer data for any purpose other than those you have disclosed to viewers.
  • Not sell, transfer, or share viewer data with third parties without explicit consent from those viewers.
  • Comply with all applicable data protection laws in your use of viewer data.
  • Indemnify Slidiant against any claims arising from your unlawful use of viewer data.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
  • Any errors or defects will be corrected.
  • The Service or our servers are free of viruses or harmful components.
  • Analytics data is complete, fully accurate, or free from third-party interference.
  • The results of using the Service will meet your requirements.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Slidiant and its directors, employees, partners, and suppliers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities, arising out of or relating to your use of or inability to use the Service.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) $100 USD.

EU/UK consumers: Nothing in this section limits your statutory rights as a consumer under EU or UK law. Mandatory consumer protections apply and take precedence over these limitations where required by law.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Slidiant Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with:

  • Your access to or use of the Service.
  • Your Content.
  • Your violation of these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy.
  • Your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property or privacy rights.
  • Your unlawful collection or use of viewer data.
  • Any claim that Your Content infringes or misappropriates the rights of a third party.

13. Termination

13.1 By you

You may close your account at any time from your account settings. Upon closure, your presentations and associated data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Deleted accounts and their content cannot be recovered.

13.2 By us

We may archive, suspend, or permanently terminate your account and delete all associated content at any time and without prior notice or refund, if we determine — in our sole discretion — that you have:

  • Violated any provision of these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy.
  • Provided false, misleading, or fraudulent information during registration or use of the Service.
  • Engaged in behaviour that poses a risk to the security, integrity, or reputation of the Service or other users.
  • Registered using automated means or otherwise circumvented our human verification requirements.
  • Used the Service for link building, SEO manipulation, or any purpose inconsistent with genuine presentation sharing.
  • Uploaded explicit, illegal, or otherwise prohibited content.
  • Engaged in any fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity in connection with the Service.

We may also terminate the Service entirely with 30 days' notice to all users.

13.3 Archival

Rather than immediate deletion, we may at our discretion place an account in an archived (read-only) state pending investigation or appeal. During archival, public presentations may be hidden and account features suspended. You may contact us at legal@slidiant.com to request reinstatement; we will respond within a reasonable timeframe but are not obligated to restore any archived or terminated account.

13.4 Effect of termination

Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases immediately. Sections 6.1 (ownership of your content), 7.1 (our IP), 10 (disclaimers), 11 (liability), 12 (indemnification), and 14 (governing law) survive termination.

14. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved after 30 days, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

EU/UK consumers: If you are a consumer resident in the EU or UK, you benefit from the mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence. Nothing in this section removes those rights. EU consumers may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will:

  • Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
  • Notify you by email at least 14 days before changes take effect.
  • Where required by law, seek your consent before applying changes.

Continued use of the Service after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of those Terms. If you do not agree with changes, you must stop using the Service and close your account before the effective date.
